#26

photo taken by my mother in 1984

At 26 my mother gave birth to me and was considered, by Communist Russia in 1984 standards, a high risk & "elderly" mother. I turned 26 yesterday and am no where near having children myself. Times have changed.

In the past couple of months I've realized that it's time to start crossing off bucket list items... silly things such as dancing till the sun comes up (check) and hiking in the rain forest (check) to traveling to foreign lands I have yet to see (too many to list).

This has pushed me to start doing more with my life. Not that I wasn't doing anything prior to yesterday but there's so much I feel like I should have done by this age that it's time to catch up. The fire has been lit.
